As much as we love our summers full of splashes and barbecues, this community really comes alive in the Fall!  Fire pits light up for s’mores and the social events start to roll in.  Below, we will detail two big upcoming events as they are for both our residents and open to the public so get ready to mark your calendars.

First up, on October 2nd we have our RounTrey Run for Hope 5k! From 9am to twelve noon come fun our 5k (or the 1 mile fun run for the kiddos!) or simply come celebrate the heroes among us, which also happens to the be the run’s theme this year.  Live music will keep things pumping while B&B Culinary Grill will be cooking up some amazing breakfast.  Mimosas and Kona Ice will also be there with other fun goodies!  Be sure not to miss out on Old Hundred Elementary School’s choir who will be kicking off the run with singing the National Anthem. For information on registration, please visit https://www.facebook.com/RounTreyRun4Hope.

The following weekend, October 9 and 10, we are stoked to play host as HBAR’s Parade of Homes community weekend sponsor!  We are also throwing our biggest event of the year, our Fall Festival which will have an Oktoberfest theme to switch things up a bit.  With three stunning show homes right down the block from this event, stop by and enter raffles (can enter at each home to increase chances) while you drum up your very own dream home in RounTrey!  From 11am-3pm both Saturday and Sunday we have amazing fun planned for the whole family-all while safely being outdoors! Listen to music from a DJ while grabbing tasty food from food trucks or grab a Bavarian pretzel! Wash it down with hot cider, coffee, or a tasty craft beer at our beer truck.  Kids can pick up a pumpkin and kit to decorate right after they stop by the petting zoo that features goats, alpacas, and baby chicks.  Kettle corn, friend oreos, inflatables, and face painting are just a few more attractions to look forward to!  The event will be located at our main clubhouse at 3800 Graythorne Drive Midlothian, VA 23112.

A reminder to also Save the date for December 9th as we will hold our annual Lights Fest event at our clubhouse featuring family photos, Santa in a snowglobe, festive treats, and a trolley to tour you through our Lights Fest entry. You vote on the best while enjoying a night out with family and friends! More details to come as we move closer to the holiday season.  We can’t wait to see you and your families very soon!
