!It’s tough to argue that our favorite season around here is the Summer with all of the festivities in Rountrey! How could it not be with our picturesque, sparkling pools and booming social calendar for all, right? This steamy time of year surely does not lack in things to do for the whole family. Our Memorial Day kick-off took place on the holiday itself and, as always, won over residents, both old and new! A vivacious DJ playing his best hits, food trucks, ice cream, games for all, and breaking in the RounTrey pool for year two. A blast was had by all!
Next up on our social calendar is our first annual Adult Pool Luau ! This one should be a real hit while residents scramble to book their favorite babysitter! Music, tasty treats, adult beverages, and other outdoor games will prove to be a night to remember (Pictures to come! Follow our Facebook page !). We have a feeling this will become an annual Summer staple for years to come.
Just days later, our adorable children will dress up their bikes, wagons, scooters, etc. with their most patriotic gear to be judged for Best Decorated Children’s Vehicle while parading down the block! We also adore our beloved furry friends here as well and will be judging the Most Patriotic Pet, which will be absolutely precious for all to enjoy. Directly following the parade will of course be a family-friendly celebration of our Nation at the pool featuring popsicles, adult beverages, Good Doggie Food Truck, and other games. We can’t think of a more unifying and exciting holiday celebrating the USA and are so excited to share our experiences in just a couple of weeks.
Movie Night at the Pool
Movie night in the pool may be a resident favorite! Kids can float and enjoy a flick from the pool while parents keep an eye on them from the sidelines. This event is so popular it has become a monthly staple throughout the summertime festivities in RounTrey.
